The CHA:
  • Promotes the retention and development of Community Hospitals and Community Hospital Services as an integral part of health and social care delivery across the United Kingdom
     
  • Provides a resource centre service to Association members on Community Hospital services across the United Kingdom
     
  • Promotes networking with other Community Hospitals
     
  • Encourages research and audit in Community Hospitals
     
  • Promotes and disseminates innovation and best practice within and across Community Hospital services
     
  • Promotes conferences and provides opportunities for shared learning
     
  • Liaises with Government Departments and other organisations on all aspects of Community Hospitals
